Ageha style updo tutorial

I’ve been really busy these past days; school has finally started. I’m not really looking forward to today because we start live practice on ourselves. ;123 I’m already pretty afraid of needles going into my skin, so having someone doing it for their first time on me is gonna drive me bonkers. ;11

I realize this tutorial is a little bit late as far as popularity goes, but now that my hair is long enough, I really enjoy doing it. It’s really neat looking and I get lots of compliments on it when I do wear it. I hope you guys can find some use for it too!! ;134 Also, please forgive me. I was (and still am) sick when I recorded the tutorial. So if the sniffling bothers you, I’m really sorry.

Thanks for watching!

ootd, contouring and lucky strike!

Went with Richard out for drinks and wings, at Buffalo Wild Wings. Tuesdays, is poor folk day since the wings are only 55cents a piece. ;66 Threw on something simple and hopefully classy. I skipped out on a waist belt since I was still puffy from monthly things. ;76

I spent most of my weekend in bed sick, so it was nice to get out.  ;62 While I was in bed though, I spent most of the time I was awake watching makeup tutorials on YouTube. I don’t particularly use YouTube as a reliable source to do anything, but some of the tutorials were really good! ;116 IDK, if you can tell, but I tried to contour my cheeks and nose in this OOTD. It was really weird to look at, at first.  I didn’t really follow the contour styles I sometimes see in Ageha and other j-mags, but a friend suggested I try it. I’ll figure out if it suits me as I use it more. ;151

I have some exciting news too. It may or may not involve this dress. :joy:

Recent get and BevMo!

Stopped at Sephora this past week looking for some missing necessities. I found pretty much what I needed, but the model of eyelash curler I wanted was sold out. :korilacry: I ended up getting something else. (Which turns out to have worked just as well. ;86 )

This has proved far more useful than I even imagined. Traditional eyelash curlers seemed pretty redundant to me. Heating them up to set them seems a bit more modern (albeit maybe dangerous if you happen to poke yourself with it?) :???: I’ve used it a couple times now and my lashes look amazing. The lady who helped me at Sephora was surprised I wanted it at all and continued to gush to her coworkers about how curly and long my lashes were. ;05 Which is kind of sort of nice because at first she insisted I was wearing mascara. (Which I ended up buying after all that.) :hnnngh:

Bought this Lash Injection By Two Faced. Surprisingly, not clumpy, it builds up cleanly and is relatively flake-free. ;159 I’m not really one for mascara so this is the second mascara I have ever owned. My previous stick of mascara was Lash Blast Volume. (It took me over a year to use it all up. That’s how little I use mascara) ;163

Bought this nifty emergency kit on a whim. Richard suggested I buy it “because you always need stuff like that and now you have no excuse” :www: This has every thing! It’s a small little bag but it has

  • Deoderant wipes
  • Nail polish remover wipes
  • Stain remover wipes
  • Clear Nail polish
  • Ibuprofen
  • Emery board
  • Mini sewing kit
  • Hair spray
  • Mint breath spray
  • Bandaids
  • Tampon
  • Blistex

I think there’s a couple more things, but I’m not remembering them. ;72

This past year, they opened a BevMo! near my house. There was a lot of controversy about it for a while. :swt: (B’aww liquer store near the jr high and mall, b’awww.) Anyways, Richard and I went exploring. I found one of the bottles of limited edition Hello Kitty wines and bought two samples. Chambord which I have had before at a tea party, and Hpnotiq. Hpnotiq has quickly become my favorite and I plan to go back for a larger bottle. It’s a bright blue, and it tastes fruity and sweet without being over-bearing. The wine ended up not being so great because I hate dry sparkling wines. :swt2:
