Happy New Year, everyone!
Since I didn’t get to do anything this time around, I’m just going to add some photos of presents I forgot to post in my last post. Some of them were late gifts due to shipping, but I’m grateful for them nonetheless!

Super Sonico has become more and more of an obsession for me. Richard bought me this Super Sonico dakimakura of a figure I own of her. It’s so cute and soft. I never thought I’d have a “waifu” pillow!

3D poster of Super Sonico. This was a really unexpected gift. I knew it was a poster, but the 3D effect on it is really cool and I can’t wait to put it up on my wall.

These boots were on the top of my wishlist for Christmas. They’re from LovelyShoes.net and I couldn’t be happier.

When I saw these boots while I was wishlisting, I nearly died. I’m so happy Richard bought them for me. They match most of my outfits and they were just too cute to pass up. They’re actually knee high boots, but I don’t have any boot trees to support the stockings so they’re all droopy.
Both pairs of shoes are surprisingly comfortable and I’m putting together pictures to do a review on them.

My iPad mini case finally came in the mail! Thank you, Crystal! It’s so incognito!
Course, if you look closely, the spine says “book Book volume XIL” You can tell it’s a terrible give away that it’s not really a book at all. XIL isn’t even a number!

I am really loving the iPad mini too. It’s actually made me forget that I even have an iPhone from time to time. I use it for everything.
I used to think tablets were really unpractical but then holy crap, as soon as I got one, I realized just how practical they really are. Isn’t that funny how that works?
Welp, I’m off to take Connor for a walk, I’m taking the Couch to 5K challenge and hoping I can dedicate myself to actually finishing it! Good luck on all your resolutions and may 2013 bring you much joy and prosperity!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
I hope you all got what you were wishing for. I know this year had been full of doubts about the world’s existence post-21st but, we made it (LOL nothing happened anyways) and I know some people waited until the last minute to get gifts just in case!
This year, Richard’s family wasn’t with us so we spent a few hours on Skype with his little sister, watching her open up her presents! I’m so happy, you love the tablet, lil sis!
Afterwards, we drove up to Santa Clarita with Connor to have Christmas with my sister, whom I am on speaking terms with again. I really did miss her and I’m happy she and I are friends again.
She made us crepes and breakfast, which was wonderful. She’s come a long way with her cooking skills!
I didn’t get any photos of us unwrapping presents, because I was too busy with everyone enjoying their gifts. We had a great time trolling Richard. During November I had accidentally told him what one of his gifts was and so I convinced him for over a month that I had sent the item back to the store for a refund to get something else. On Christmas day, both my sister and I prepared individual gag gifts (related) to trick him. He got the item I made the mistake on (tomahawk from Assassin’s Creed III) and he loves it.

Beautiful diamond bracelet from Clayton!

Set of matching earrings as well. They’re just beautiful!

Rilakkuma satchel from Richard as a birthday present! It’s so cute and I plan to use it a lot.

Beautiful OOAK makeup clutch and matching purse from my sister. The artist who made this is flipping amazing! I love this set so much!

An off camera slave-flash from Richard. It wasn’t the right shoe fit for my camera, but I can still use it as a slave!

Tony Moly mascara and lipstick from Richard and Caitlin. This stuff is AMAZING!

The unexpected coup de grace from my sister, an iPad mini. Hory shit!
THANK YOU!

Happy International Lolita Day, everyone! This year wasn’t extravagant for me, I opted out of going to a meetup. I hadn’t been feeling very well and for some reason work was just exhausting this week.
I spent my lolita day looking around online for things to add to my wishlist and drinking sweet chocolate, and ice cream alcoholic drinks with my sister.
It was fun and just what I needed to relax on my weekend.
I ended up finding some really pretty things that I feel like I need in my closet ASAP. Maybe when tax returns come in?

Metamorphose has come out with their Fancy Egg series which is just magic in the water for me.
I love it so much! Faberge eggs are super charming to me, and while I don’t love the diamond print all that much, the eggs are so detailed you almost forget about the rest of the pattern! I’d still purchase it and use it for meetups.

The cut is very simple, but it seems like it would work and that anything else might be too over-powering. The eggs are already very ornate and doing anything besides a simple neckline like this would make this piece way to OTT for most. The chiffon belt is a nice touch too.

Admittedly, I hnngh’d. I haven’t really been in love with what Baby has been putting out and so when I was derping around looking for things to make my wallet and heart-ache, I found this beauty. Of course, with the chest straps, it might not look good on my boobs, but at the same, maybe they would distract from the size? It’s a very comely piece and I could easily see it working for the start of a spring wardrobe.
Inowa is the one who has really got me by the heart strings this season. They released a biscuit series that, while late, is super attractive.

Okay, now, I’ve lost it. The bag too? Goddamnit, there goes all my money.
This series, for as simple as it is, is glorious.
The hair accessory is super adorable too.

It doubles as a corsage, so you don’t have to put it in your hair. It looks just as lovely as a breast pin!
Welp, I’m pretty tired now that I’m sober.
