Recent get and BevMo!

Stopped at Sephora this past week looking for some missing necessities. I found pretty much what I needed, but the model of eyelash curler I wanted was sold out. :korilacry: I ended up getting something else. (Which turns out to have worked just as well. ;86 )

This has proved far more useful than I even imagined. Traditional eyelash curlers seemed pretty redundant to me. Heating them up to set them seems a bit more modern (albeit maybe dangerous if you happen to poke yourself with it?) :???: I’ve used it a couple times now and my lashes look amazing. The lady who helped me at Sephora was surprised I wanted it at all and continued to gush to her coworkers about how curly and long my lashes were. ;05 Which is kind of sort of nice because at first she insisted I was wearing mascara. (Which I ended up buying after all that.) :hnnngh:

Bought this Lash Injection By Two Faced. Surprisingly, not clumpy, it builds up cleanly and is relatively flake-free. ;159 I’m not really one for mascara so this is the second mascara I have ever owned. My previous stick of mascara was Lash Blast Volume. (It took me over a year to use it all up. That’s how little I use mascara) ;163

Bought this nifty emergency kit on a whim. Richard suggested I buy it “because you always need stuff like that and now you have no excuse” :www: This has every thing! It’s a small little bag but it has

  • Deoderant wipes
  • Nail polish remover wipes
  • Stain remover wipes
  • Clear Nail polish
  • Ibuprofen
  • Emery board
  • Mini sewing kit
  • Hair spray
  • Mint breath spray
  • Bandaids
  • Tampon
  • Blistex

I think there’s a couple more things, but I’m not remembering them. ;72

This past year, they opened a BevMo! near my house. There was a lot of controversy about it for a while. :swt: (B’aww liquer store near the jr high and mall, b’awww.) Anyways, Richard and I went exploring. I found one of the bottles of limited edition Hello Kitty wines and bought two samples. Chambord which I have had before at a tea party, and Hpnotiq. Hpnotiq has quickly become my favorite and I plan to go back for a larger bottle. It’s a bright blue, and it tastes fruity and sweet without being over-bearing. The wine ended up not being so great because I hate dry sparkling wines. :swt2:
