Skin79 + ootd

After seeing a review for BB cream being used on a darker lady, I decided to take a leap of faith and buy Skn79’s Triple Action BB cream. ;147 It came pretty quickly, so I’m really excited to do this review.

Now, it says that it’s supposed to whiten, with SPF 25, and improve blemishes and wrinkles. So far, I’ve only used it once and it does a pretty good job of minimizing my crater pores, and covering up some light scarring I have from a nervous habit. I’ll keep you posted on whether or not those scars improve with use.

The cream looks neutral enough, and IRL it’s a little hard to see just how bright your skin gets, but as you will see, photos pick up on it extremely well. ;104

Bwuahaha, I started putting on foundation. At least, you can see the difference in tones between my foundation which is Revlon Photoready in Medium Beige and the BB cream. ;67

Now, I don’t look like so much of a ghost. This is the foundation fully blended into the BB cream. It’s about as typically bright as my foundation by itself is. There is only a slight difference.  Please ignore my hairline, because I typically wear wigs, I don’t blend my foundation up into my hairline.

There! The completed make up look. It’s not so noticeable here at all. It does, however, do wonders for the smoothness of the photos. My verdict? Secret IRL photoshoop. ;116 I also approve this for use for girls with medium skin tones. I do agree with other makeup gurus, girls with skin that is too dark should probably avoid this product and continue with a plain moisturizer.

It’s finally gotten to the point where just, IDGAF about what anyone thinks of my weight and size. I’m fucking beautiful and I know it. I’m not going to stop exercising and dieting, but this whole being ashamed of wearing skirts and shorts is just bull. I’m 21 years old, nearly 22 and I can’t feel comfortable in my own skin because the media says I shouldn’t. Guess what? Fuck you, and the rocking horse shoes you rode in on.   ;10   ;162
