Today I decided to explore things I could do with my wigs. This par­tic­u­lar wig is a GLW I got from a swap meet back in June or July. Let’s be hon­est, I wasn’t happy with the qual­ity. This wig frizzes worse than my real hair at the ends. I don’t want to cut them so I decided to turn them under and make a bob wig!

I also had seen this blouse being worn at PMX by a local lolita. I’ve had the blouse sit­ting in my closet mostly for work because I fig­ured the color was too mute/off kil­ter for lolita. I was wrong.

Ever so slowly, my wardrobe is tak­ing on a more classic/natural/dolly-kei look. Neu­trals, fur, cro­chets and toned down wigs and makeup are becom­ing the high­lights of my out­fits. Maybe it’s just the sea­son and these things remind me of the cooler weath­ers of fall-early spring? 

Any­ways, here is a full coord with the new cardi­gan I bought and some boots I had stored away that have sud­denly found a place in my closet again.

These boots are actu­ally a lit­tle weird. I’ve had them for about three years and off and on through­out they fit and don’t fit. Not really sure what’s caus­ing it except swelling in my legs from walk­ing around too much before putting them on. It could just be a sign that it’s time for new boots…

Went with Richard out for drinks and wings, at Buf­falo Wild Wings. Tues­days, is poor folk day since the wings are only 55cents a piece. Threw on some­thing sim­ple and hope­fully classy. I skipped out on a waist belt since I was still puffy from monthly things.

I spent most of my week­end in bed sick, so it was nice to get out.  While I was in bed though, I spent most of the time I was awake watch­ing makeup tuto­ri­als on YouTube. I don’t par­tic­u­larly use YouTube as a reli­able source to do any­thing, but some of the tuto­ri­als were really good! IDK, if you can tell, but I tried to con­tour my cheeks and nose in this OOTD. It was really weird to look at, at first.  I didn’t really fol­low the con­tour styles I some­times see in Ageha and other j-mags, but a friend sug­gested I try it. I’ll fig­ure out if it suits me as I use it more.

I have some excit­ing news too. It may or may not involve this dress.
